What's New Two!

Here are a few more photos of the displays currently around the store.  If you see something you'd like, please call me at the store at 805-927-2391.  During the winter season, we're open 10 till 5 Monday and Wednesday through Saturday.  Sunday 12 noon till 5.  And we're closed on Tuesdays. If you call, I'll check to see if the item is still available, as everything is subject to in-store sales and some items in the photos may already be sold.  If it is available, we can charge the item and its insurance and shipping costs to your credit card and can, generally, ship within 2 business days.  As always, vintage items are sold "as found" and all sales are final.

Keep checking back as new photos of the store displays are posted as they change.

7th Annual Holiday Open House!
W
ith Christmas just around the corner, I thought I would give you a sneak preview of some of the things I have tucked away for our 7th Annual Holiday Open House, November 1st & 2nd.  There is a stash of estate find Victorian ornaments (best I've had, I think), a wonderful old wagon with metal wheels, a stenciled red wheelbarrow, an adorable folk art child's chair made of spools with old red paint (this one had to stay at my home awhile ~ SO cute!), a child size camel back trunk with inside tray/paper, an old metal branch of pine and pinecones, a fabulous collection of old santas, mica houses, German farm animals, some old toys, hooked rugs, metal deer, a Schoenhut doll, old teddy bears, and lots more!  Plus, who knows what I will find before the celebration dates arrives?!

Of course, there will be lots of new artist pieces, some Julie Whitmore faience ware, Melissa Tereck paper Mache creations, handmade felt pillows, jewelry, books, holiday ornaments....fun, fun, fun!  Sure hope you can join us!  It all begins November 1st & 2nd at 10:00 am!

I've Gone Nuts!
I
am selling a wonderful collection of all things acorn! Beautiful old dishes with hand painted acorns, an acorn shelf, napkin rings, actual acorns ~ just a wonderful display from a long time collector of acorns.  Perfect for your Fall decor.  These are out now along with old and new HALLOWEEN!

Here's a closer view of this great vintage collection.

And of course, many fun artist pieces from some of our favorite designers like Nicole Sayer (above).

Come see fun ways to keep your ears warm!.

In the large German Silver Case, you'll find Old Halloween!  It's getting so hard to find at a decent price, but fortunately, I found a few really nice old pieces that I have tucked away and saved for now!  Come in and see what your parents and grandparents used to help celebrate Halloween!

These wonderful decorator plates are from artist Lori Mitchell.

Just about anything you want "Halloween" is on the front table as you walk in.

Be sure to see all sizes and designs of paper Mache pumpkins.

So we do hope you "wheel" right on over to Birds of a Feather to make your Halloween really fun!

If you live out of town, I hope you plan a day-trip soon to get an early taste of this fun season!

Please remember that I'll be closed the week before our 7th Annual Holiday Open House scheduled for November 1st and 2nd, Saturday and Sunday.  Because I'm closed October 27th through 31st, your last day to buy Halloween will be Sunday, October 26th.  During those next five days, the store gets COMPLETELY torn apart, reorganized, and made-over in our Birds of a Feather Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Themes.  So, if you want to browse Halloween this year, please keep the above schedule in mind.  If ever in doubt, call me at 805-927-2391.

I hope you've enjoyed this brief "tour" of what's new around the store.  Please plan to stop in and see us the next time you're in Cambria.  We're in the East Village section ~ the "vintage" part of town between the Blue Bird Inn and the corner gas station in part of a 100+ year old building that used to be the Cambria Creamery.
We hope to see you soon!
